Lidi de Waal is a writer and artist and also performed sculpture in her early years. She writes about life, love and memories about growing up in a small town Fraserburg in the Great Karoo. Lidi successfully published her first book: “Kleur van die Woorde” in 2016 with some of her poems and artwork. She finds her inspiration in life’ small things, feathers she picks up on the beach, the eyes of her cats and the happiness of her children.
